And though the child never would make the decision themselves, whether good or bad (being a slave to bad by Adam or a slave to God through His Purpose and Will), they must see the truth prior to the change for the regeneration to work and thus require calls of change and seeing punishment, and to see the Holy nature of their adopted parent and the evil nature of their past parent. If a parent sets food before their child to choose which meal to eat, didn't the parent choose the choices for the child? The predetermined choices of this or that are, by their very own nature, predetermined for the child, since the parent knows the child's preferences and history well beyond that of the child's own ability. And more so with God, who not only has seen all the actions of the child but intentionally made them with certain characteristics and qualities for a purpose, His purpose. The reward for choosing the healthier meal the parent presents, versus the lack of reward by the unhealthy option, is itself also coercive and predetermined. The rewards, by their very nature, are ingrained in the purposes of the parent. The parent developed the plan and the materials to present what they wanted the child to choose.
